The Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) Anderson Visiting Medical Education Scholarship gives students from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to experience the premier academic training opportunities available at LVHN and reduces barriers to participation in such opportunities. This scholarship is one component of LVHN’s wider commitment to ensuring the next generation of health care professionals meets the needs of our patients, and that our future health care workforce reflects the diversity of the patients we serve.

Thanks to generous grants from The Health Care Trust of Anne Constance and Carl Robert Anderson, LVHN is offering scholarships for visiting medical students. These scholarships are available to those with a family income below set low-income thresholds or from challenging social, cultural or educational environments, such as certain rural or inner-city areas that may face barriers to medical career access. The scholarship helps reduce costs associated with clerkship travel, application fees and housing expenses. Apply now to ease your financial burden during your medical education journey.
