Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Faculty

Dhanalakshmi Ramasamy, MD

Dhanalakshmi Ramasamy, MD, has been a child and adolescent psychiatrist in the department of psychiatry at Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) in Allentown, Pa., since 2005. She is an assistant clinical professor at University of South Florida Health Morsani College of Medicine, LVHN’s academic affiliate. She is also the medical director at LVPG Adult and Pediatric Psychiatry–1259 Cedar Crest, the outpatient office.

She earned a medical degree from Coimbatore Medical College, India. She completed her residency training in psychiatry at Temple University in Philadelphia and completed her Child and Adolescent Fellowship from Drexel University in Philadelphia.

She is a distinguished fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and the distinguished fellow of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. She served as president of the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Society.

Rory Marraccini, MD

Rory Marraccini, MD, is Chair of the Department of Psychiatry at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pa. Dr. Marraccini has been a consultation/liaison psychiatrist at LVHN since 2004 and is Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at University of South Florida Health Morsani College of Medicine.

He received a Bachelor of Arts in Italian Languages and Literature and his medical degree from University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh. He completed his internship in internal medicine at The New York Hospital/Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and his residency in psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College/The Payne Whitney Clinic, both in New York City.

Outside of his clinical duties, Dr. Marraccini is active in clinician well-being, strategic planning and operational development across the Jefferson Health enterprise.
