Application Information

Thank you for your interest in the Diagnostic Radiology Residency training program at Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN). Please note that all applicants must register through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).

We accept five diagnostic radiology residents annually. Our program is an Advanced Training Program (code:1601420A0) with a joint agreement with our Transitional Year Program (code:1601999P3). To use the joint agreement, rank our diagnostic radiology Advanced Training Program on your main rank order list and use the supplemental rank order list to rank our Transitional Year Program code if you’re interested in completing your PGY-1 transitional year at LVHN.

If you match with us, a spot in our Transitional Year Program is reserved for you. However, if you choose not to rank the LVHN Transitional Year Program, the unmatched spot will be offered to another applicant and you will join our Diagnostic Radiology Residency in PGY-2 after completing your internship year elsewhere. The PGY-1 year is a Joint Advanced/Preliminary (A/P) Transitional Year Program. As a joint program applicant, you only need to apply to the Diagnostic Radiology Residency in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). For more information about the Joint A/P, please refer to the NRMP website.

Applications for the Diagnostic Radiology Residency are accepted only through ERAS. Only complete applications will be considered.
