People with heart conditions can take comfort knowing LVHN has the most experienced cardiologists and cardiac surgeons in the region, consistently ranking among the nation’s leaders in heart attack survival. Consider LVHN was the region’s first to perform transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and is recognized as a center for performing complex mitral valve repair surgery.

Your support breathes life into our diagnostic testing, preventive care, and lifesaving treatments and surgical procedures. Visionary gifts from community partners are vital to the success of our mission to combat heart disease with the latest technology, greatest access to lifesaving clinical trials and collaborative treatment plans, specifically designed for individual patients.

Expansion and advancement of vascular surgery program

As the region’s most trusted cardiac and vascular care provider, Lehigh Valley Heart and Vascular Institute clinicians work tirelessly to remain at the forefront of research and education aimed at fighting back against heart disease. Heart disease is still the leading cause of death in the U.S. and demand for cardiovascular services is projected to increase driven by higher cardiovascular disease rates and a rapidly aging population.

Helps us as we continue to become a hub of expertise for cardiac and vascular care which will allow Lehigh Valley Heart and Vascular Institute to be an even more effective health partner for the region

Access to new treatments and clinical trials

When pioneering FDA-approved treatment options become available, who will most benefit most? Readily identifying patients who are candidates for procedures or clinical trials is critical. Your philanthropy will allow us to bring more clinical trials to more patients every day.

Women’s heart health

Lehigh Valley Heart and Vascular Institute is home to a comprehensive women’s heart health program, led in part by the largest group of female cardiologists in the region. The Women’s Heart Program focuses on a woman’s specialized needs during all phases of her life. This team-based approach to heart health in our female patients is the future of women’s health, and as the most trusted heart health care provider in the region, it is our honor to lead the charge.

Diagnostic and preventative medicine

We bring together advanced technology and groundbreaking research to care for patients with complex cases of heart disease that many hospitals turn away. You only find this level of clinical expertise at the country’s top medical centers.

We provide the most complete health assessment where patients participating in our diagnostic and preventive medicine programs receive complete assessments of their heart, lungs, and other organs. Our goal is to detect disease in its most treatable stages before symptoms appear.

Support our heart prevention programs so that we can help more individuals in keeping their heart problems from ever happening in the first place.
