Summary
This role will function as a core Workday Supply Chain analyst, supporting day-to-day production needs, configuration updates, and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include supporting procurement, inventory, and supplier-related processes, assisting with issue resolution and root-cause analysis, testing system changes, and partnering with clinical, supply chain, and finance stakeholders. The analyst will help ensure smooth system operations, support reporting and data needs, and contribute to incremental enhancements in a complex, healthcare-focused environment.
Job Duties
- The Workday Supply Chain Analyst will serve as a key functional resource responsible for supporting production operations and delivering incremental improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across procurement, supplier accounts, and inventory processes
- Conduct root‑cause analysis and partner with technical and functional teams to prevent recurrence
- Support end users and business partners across supply chain, clinical, and finance functions
- Assist with configuration updates within Workday Supply Chain modules
- Support functional design and documentation for enhancements and workflow changes
- Contribute to optimization workstreams as the organization refines its supply chain operations
- Execute testing for Workday releases, configuration changes, and new functionality
- Participate in regression testing cycles and validate downstream impacts
- Work closely with supply chain operations, clinical stakeholders, and finance teams
- Support reporting and data needs, including validation and troubleshooting
- Ensure smooth day‑to‑day system operations in a complex healthcare environment
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Information Sciences and Technology, Information Management, or fields related to the system functions supported or
- preferred work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- 1 year Progressive experience in Information Management or Information Technology or
- 1 year Combination experience of Information Technology, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Healthcare or equivalent experience.
- ERP or Corporate applications configuration and reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively and learn quickly.
- Knowledge of processes of assigned area(s) and applications.
- Effectively deals with multiple and changing priorities.
- Hands‑on experience with Workday Supply Chain in a live production environment
- Strong understanding of supply chain and procurement processes (e.g., purchasing, receiving, inventory, supplier management)
- Experience with production support, issue troubleshooting, and enhancement cycles
- Familiarity with testing methodologies (SIT, UAT, regression) within Workday
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work cross‑functionally across clinical, supply chain, and finance teams
- Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Workday reporting, EIBs, or data validations
- Exposure to Workday integrations (reviewing output, functional testing)
- Knowledge of healthcare-specific supply chain processes (PAR locations, clinical inventory, item master management)
Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
