Job Duties
- 40 hours on-line mammography education training in accordance with FDA/MQSA guidelines. Includes learning ACR-established positioning, breast anatomy/physiology, evaluating technical quality of images, Quality Control.
- ARRT mammography clinical experience requirement in preparation for mammography certification
- Complies with hospital and department policies and procedures.
- Interacts professionally as an effective team member, promoting patient satisfaction and a positive work environment.
Minimum Qualifications- Specialized Diploma Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology or
- Specialized Diploma 40 hours on-line mammography education training within 1 month of hire or
- Specialized Diploma ARRT mammography clinical experience requirement for certification within 5 months of hire
- Ability to deal effectively and ethically with medical and confidential information relating to patients, family, and physicians.
- Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
- Understanding of how to use radiation producing equipment effectively and safely.
- Knowledge of medical technology and terminology.
- Delivers a high level of patient care and customer service to promote patient satisfaction.

Physical DemandsLift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
