Summary
This role serves as the key link between the finance department and the Information Systems (IS) team, focusing on utilizing the Workday platform. Responsibilities include providing consultation, maintaining data integrity, configuring system changes, testing integrations and security, sharing knowledge, acting as an escalation point for issues, and ensuring system configuration aligns with finance needs.

Job Duties

  • Assists the business in determining the best technical solutions for issues/processes and how they can/should be integrated with other business and technical systems/processes.
  • Assists with the configuration, implementation and maintenance of the technical requirements for the current development, staging and production environments.
  • Serve as the IS partner supporting Finance areas in Workday, including FP&A reporting, Expenses, Procurement, Projects, etc.
  • Provide consultation to Financials COEs, building domain knowledge, gathering requirements, providing solutions and impact analysis
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on current and upcoming Workday capabilities
  • Maintain master data values in Workday across areas of responsibility
  • Configure, test, validate and implement Business Process changes in Workday
  • Assist in testing of integrations, security and recurring events
  • Provide input and knowledge sharing with Workday Team Lead, Workday Team Members, and clients as appropriate
  • Serve as an escalation resource for Tier 2 & 3 issues
  • Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training in order to improve policy and process acumen
  • Design and maintain system configuration, such as cost centers and consolidations
  • Assists in developing technology standards.
  • Estimates resources required for task completion.
  • Completes tasks by due dates or documents variances and alerts management.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree Information Sciences and Technology or Information Management related fields or 4 years work experience will be considered in lieu of degree
  • 2 years Progressive experience in Information Management or Information Technology or a related Healthcare field
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze and solve problems and interpret data.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and to be self motivated and self disciplined.
  • Knowledge of processes of assigned area(s) and applications.
  • Effectively deals with multiple and changing priorities.
  • Must be able to visit multiple business and education locations. (Dependent on employment location)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare Operations Experience
  • 2 years of Workday experience


Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
