Allison was raised in Downingtown, Pa., and graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Premedicine, honors in biobehavioral health and a minor in psychology. She went on to attend medical school at the Penn State College of Medicine. While there, she combined her passion for the creative arts with medicine, exploring and promoting the humanities in medicine for both patients and clinicians. Her professional interests include preventive medicine. In her free time, she enjoys reading, music, playing board games and watching Japanese anime.
