Angie Lopez, MD

Angie was born in Colombia and grew up in both New York and Medellín, Colombia. After completing high school in Medellín, she moved to New York, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at Hunter College. Her interest in understanding the complex interactions within the human body led her to pursue a master’s in biomedical science, which solidified her passion for medicine. She completed her medical education at St. George’s University. Angie has an interest in holistic medicine, recognizing that no condition occurs in isolation. She believes in viewing each patient as a multifaceted individual, understanding their physical, emotional and social contexts. Beyond medicine, she enjoys spending time in nature, reading, listening to music and practicing martial arts.
