Ashley is originally from South Florida and earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from University of Central Florida. After graduation, she taught English in Daegu, South Korea, before returning home to teach high school biology and anatomy. Motivated by a desire to improve community health, she completed her medical degree at American University of Antigua. There, her participation in the global health track reinforced her focus on preventive care, obesity and lifestyle medicine, and addressing social determinants of health in underserved populations. Outside of work, she enjoys salsa dancing, catching up on a good TV series and spending time with her two Jack Russell terriers.
