Jared Miller, DO
Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
Jared spent some of his early years in the Pittsburgh area but spent most of his life growing up in the Lehigh Valley area. He attended Moravian College (now Moravian University) and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He followed this by obtaining his Master of Biomedical Sciences at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. Jared then worked as a medical scribe for a year at LVPG Orthopedics and Sports Medicine–1250 Cedar Crest, where he gained an appreciation for the value of mobility in contributing to patients’ health. He then obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Using what he learned as a medical scribe, coupled with the holistic approach to medicine he learned during his time in medical school, Jared approaches each patient’s unique problems with a fresh perspective to best optimize their wellness. He believes in the value of preventive care and enjoys educating patients about their conditions so they can make informed decisions about each step of their care. Outside of medicine, Jared enjoys staying active by going to the gym and hiking. He also enjoys trying new restaurants and cafes with his wife and is a big Pittsburgh sports fan. He enjoys reading and spending time with friends, family and his wife’s two cats, Kiwi and Marge.
