U.S. News also rates LVH as “high performing” in five specialties and 15 procedures and conditions. Each "high performing" rating means LVH is considered among the top 10 percent for that rated specialty.
  • Top marks for safety – LVH–Cedar Crest, LVH–Hecktown Oaks and LVH–Hazleton received an “A” grade from The Leapfrog Group for patient safety in 2023. Leapfrog also named LVH–Cedar Crest among the best teaching hospitals in the nation.

In 2023, LVHN hospitals and services received 60 readers’ choice awards, a new record. Votes from community members determine the winners of the awards, which are conducted by area newspapers.
  • Great Place to Work® certified – For the fourth consecutive year, LVHN is certified as a Great Place to Work. Certification is largely based on the results of a survey taken by 5,000 randomly selected colleagues. In that survey, colleagues said they feel good about the ways LVHN contributes to the community. They feel welcome when they join LVHN. They are proud about what LVHN accomplishes and proud to tell others they work here.
