Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH)–Cedar Crest is ranked 25th in the nation for orthopedic care and 42nd for pulmonology and lung surgery on the U.S. News & World Report 2025-2026 Best Hospitals list.
LVH–Cedar Crest is also the top hospital in the region for the 12th consecutive time and ranks third among the top 10 hospitals in Pennsylvania.
In 2025-26, LVH–Cedar Crest earned a “high performing” rating in six adult specialties, including:

U.S. News evaluated nearly 4,400 hospitals across 15 specialties and 22 procedures and conditions. Only 13% of evaluated hospitals earned a Best Hospitals ranking. Hospitals awarded a “best” designation excelled at factors such as clinical outcomes, level of nursing care and patient experience.
