The Lehigh Valley Health Network Board of Associates consists of business and community leaders with a mutual interest in quality patient care, clinical and community education, medical research and other endeavors that keep our community healthy.
The Auxiliary of Lehigh Valley Hospital's roots date back more than 100 years. Back then, 13 women formed the Auxiliary of Allentown Hospital to raise money for the city's first hospital. Decades later, folks held an annual plant sale from an old stone farmhouse near where Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest stands today.
The Auxiliary of Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg collects holiday toys for children, purchases red, heart-shaped pillows for heart surgery patients and knits soft hats for chemotherapy patients. These are just a few of the ways members make things better for hospital patients and the community.
