LVHN is seeking a board-certified internal medicine (IM) or family medicine (FM) physician with added certification in bariatric medicine.   • LVHN is comprised of eight hospital campuses across eastern Pennsylvania. Our medical staff includes 2,000 members in 95 specialties, more than 1,100 are board-certified. LVH–Hazleton has a medical staff of nearly 290 providers.
  • LVHN is the region’s largest employer with more than 17,600 colleagues. LVH–Hazleton is one of the largest employers in Greater Hazleton with more than 1,100 employees offering medical, surgical, emergency and maternity services, inpatient rehabilitation and home care.
  • LVHN Cancer Center–Hazleton provides access to quality cancer care close to home for the people of Hazleton. LVH–Hazleton physicians work in collaboration with Lehigh Valley Topper Cancer Institute to provide leading-edge care that improves outcomes. Patients throughout our region have access to cancer clinical trials from the one of the country’s top cancer organizations due to our affiliation with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC).
  • LVH–Hazleton is an accredited Level IV Trauma Center. Patients who need higher level trauma care have access to swift MedEvac transport to Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest’s Level I Trauma Center.
  • LVH–Hazleton is a Primary Stroke Center accredited by the Hospital Facilities Accreditation Program of the American College of Osteopathic Medicine. It is the first hospital in northeast Pennsylvania to achieve this designation.
  • LVPG Weight Loss Management Center at the Health & Wellness Center at Hazleton offers comprehensive weight loss services for morbid obesity. The program offers exercise, behavioral and nutritional education to assist patients in reaching their goals.
  • LVHN’s TeleMedicine program provides access to specialists throughout our health network. Our Regional Burn Center serves 900 adult and pediatric patients a year through our TeleBurn program and through referrals from eastern Pennsylvania and neighboring states.
