About

Philosophy of care

I treat each person as I would want someone in my family to be treated. The opportunity to take care of someone is an honor and a privilege.

Why I entered medicine

My nonna suffered from health issues as well as barriers related to language and culture, so I chose a career to help people like her. My wife, son, parents, grandparents and sisters are why I continue to try and make a difference in health care.

Community involvement

I am involved with physician assistant education, outreach and other activities at various levels, including the Pennsylvania College of Technology, my alma mater, and the Pennsylvania Society for Physician Assistants.

Personal interests

I love hanging out with my wife and son. My wife and I enjoy traveling and discovering coffee shops or unique food places. I also like watching and playing soccer and basketball, weightlifting, video games, YouTube videos, visiting my family and celebrating cultural traditions within my Uruguayan heritage.
