About

Philosophy of care

I strive to provide each patient with individualized, evidence-based anesthesia care that prioritizes their comfort, dignity and well-being.

Why I entered medicine

I chose to be a physician anesthesiologist because the field allows me to combine precision and critical thinking with compassionate care. This ensures patients are safe, comfortable and supported during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

Community involvement

I have served as an anesthesiologist on Mercy Ships in Africa five times and have also provided general medical care in rural areas of Africa, including Timbuktu and extreme western Kenya.

Personal interests

I enjoy time with my family and reading the Bible. I also enjoy playing golf and kayaking.
