About

Philosophy of care

My philosophy is grounded in the belief every patient deserves to be seen, heard and treated as an individual – not just a diagnosis. I view medicine as both a science and a calling, where critical thinking, compassion and communication intersect to promote healing. I deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care that balances swift clinical judgment with empathy and respect for human dignity.

Why I entered medicine

I entered medicine to serve patients in their most critical moments. My years in emergency and trauma care shaped my passion for rapid assessment, decisive action and compassionate intervention when every second counts. As a nurse practitioner in emergency medicine, I’m driven by the challenge of solving complex clinical puzzles while maintaining a human connection with each patient.

Community involvement

I stay active as a U-14 youth soccer coach and as a volunteer firefighter/medical responder with my local department – roles that combine mentorship, teamwork and public safety.

Personal interests

I’m passionate about woodworking and design, and love projects that let me get hands-on and create something meaningful. Staying active, mindful and connected to nature keeps me grounded and fuels my personal growth. I draw inspiration from everyday experiences and am always looking for new ways to learn, build and connect.
