About

Philosophy of care

In my practice of neuropsychology, I strive to understand a child's neurocognitive strengths and weaknesses and how this unique profile gives raise to problems seen in school, home or relating to peers. Additionally, I believe in integrated care and the need to collaborate with other doctors and teachers to develop the best treatment, including an academic plan for a child.

Why I entered medicine

I was inspired to study medicine by my parents, both physicians. Growing up I saw them working hard to help their patients and community. After completion of my medical studies, I had met Dr. Erin Bigler, a neuropsychologist who got me excited in that discipline and the brain-behavior relationship.

Personal interests

I live with my husband and son and enjoy traveling and learning about art and culture.
