About
Philosophy of care
I treat my patients and families the way I want to be treated, applying shared decision-making and evidence-based care. The old saying that prevention is better than cure is probably most important in pediatrics. I like to emphasize how critical it is to help prevent illness with regular medical checkups and a healthy lifestyle. Good habits formed during childhood years can go a long way in preventing adult illnesses.
Why I entered medicine
From early childhood I was attracted to the medical field. I always wanted to be like my doctor and help my patients and families the same way. During medical school I chose pediatrics because children are among the most vulnerable patients. I also studied epidemiology to help me evaluate the medical literature critically.
Community involvement
In India, I was regularly involved in charity health camps.
Personal interests
I like to spend time with my family, and love to cook. I am also a big fan of Arsenal F.C. and watch most of their games.

Comments
"Our child's care is in good hands with the wonderful staff at this location. I like that we can ask questions and get them answered with no judgement. The doctor is very knowledgeable and nurses are kind to her. I appreciate the care for our child and liked that they even helped me with a portal question. Thank you."
"Doctor was super helpful, even suggesting things I hadn't considered checking for my child (I'm an overthinker and planner, so that's saying something). Definitely proves to me that he's not one of those doctors just going through the motions. Would absolutely recommend to anyone."
"Kind staff. Attentive Doctor. All questions are always answered and explained."
