About

Philosophy of care

I always treat patients as I would want my family treated. Taking time to answer questions from patients and their families as well as educating them is of utmost importance to me. When everybody understands what is being done, why it's being done and what to expect in the future, the process of healing and recovery is so much better.

Why I entered medicine

I have always wanted to go into health care. Helping people return to their families after accidents and injuries is the most rewarding experience.

Community involvement

I volunteer at the Kempton Community Center and served on its board of directors for years. I also volunteer at fundraising events for Kempton Fire Company. I belong to numerous other community organizations and feel very strongly about supporting their efforts to promote health and safety.

Personal interests

I love spending time with my family and friends. I am an avid outdoorswoman and can be found hunting and fishing in the fall. We also enjoy hiking and riding ATVs on our farm. My husband coaches college baseball and my son plays college baseball, so spring and summers are spent at the ballpark – and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
