Philosophy of care

I bring an individual, patient-centered approach to diagnosis and treatment. Each individual has a unique set of needs, difficulties, beliefs and preferences. So our plan of care for you must reflect your qualities to be complete, comfortable and address your concerns and needs.

Why I entered medicine

Many of my family members struggled with hearing loss, and I learned quickly how that not only affected them, but also those around them. Naturally, I became an effective communicator with those who have hearing loss, sparking my desire to help others who face that issue.

Community involvement

I am passionate about sharing my experience and expertise with the world whenever possible. I have traveled to places such as Guatemala and to Navajo Reservations in Utah to test and treat those of all ages with hearing loss. Mission work fills a special place in my heart and I am happy to be a servant of the world by providing care to those who do not have available access to audiology services.

Personal interests

I recently became a first-time mom and enjoy time at home with my baby girl and my husband. As a family, my father, my husband and I run a trivia night at our local volunteer fire company to help raise funds. We love attending local events and supporting local businesses.
