About

Philosophy of care

Every patient deserves to be heard, respected and involved in their care. My role is to guide you with the latest evidence while honoring your values and goals.

Why I entered medicine

Born and raised in Dera Ghazi Khan, Pakistan, I was inspired to pursue medicine by my parents, both of whom are physicians. Their lifelong dedication to patient care and service to the community motivated me to follow in their footsteps and dedicate my career to compassionate, evidence-based healing.

Community involvement

I am passionate about improving health care access for underserved populations. When I first came to the U.S. and lived in Scranton, the community warmly embraced me. I participated in community health initiatives to provide primary care. I am excited to return to this region and serve the community I now consider my own.

Personal interests

I enjoy exploring new cultures through travel and cuisine. I cherish time with my family and am fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi and Saraiki.
