About
Philosophy of care
I encourage all of my patients and their families to be involved in the care plan. It is important to me that your wishes are valued and you have the support of your loved ones. It is also important to me that we work in collaboration and make decisions as a team.
Why I entered medicine
I entered medicine after spending time at LVHN through the Emerging Health program in high school. I was inspired by how nurses, clinicians and support staff cared for patients through challenging circumstances. I knew after the first day it would be an honor to help care for my community through medicine.
Community involvement
I participate in the LVHN flu drive each fall. I also guest lecture for the Emerging Health program and serve as a judge for the Research Scholar program at LVHN. I am also a member of LVHN's ethics committee.
Personal interests
Italy is my favorite place in the world; I go as often as I can! I also enjoy reading and spending time with my family, friends and pets. I have obtained certifications in burn nursing as well as critical care nursing.
