About
Philosophy of care
My approach to patient care is grounded in empathy, equity, communication and collaboration. I want every child and their family to feel supported, heard and confident they are in capable, caring hands. In the ER, every moment counts. I value the time spent listening to parents and caregivers, understanding their concerns and working as a team to find the best path forward for every child. I hope every family leaves knowing I truly care about their child’s well-being and will always advocate for what is best for them.
Why I entered medicine
I entered medical school wanting to become a pediatric emergency medicine physician. Working with children comes very naturally to me. I feel a strong connection to kids, and I use this gift to build positive, trusting relationships with my patients. My outgoing and energetic personality shines brightest when I am in the pediatric Emergency Department.
Community involvement
I have served in medical missions in underdeveloped countries including Jamaica, Belize, Costa Rica, Haiti, El Salvador and the Dominican Republic. I believe that all children, regardless of background or circumstance, deserve access to high-quality care. I grew up in the Lehigh Valley and plan to be involved here as well as volunteer to serve children in need internationally.
Personal interests
My family and friends are incredibly important to me, and I cherish the time I spend with them. While I previously competed in gymnastics and pole vaulting, I now enjoy running and taking classes at Pure Barre. I also love to travel, especially to new destinations where I can immerse myself in different cultures and gain a deeper understanding of the world. Cruises are my favorite way to explore!
