About

Philosophy of care

I strive always to broaden and expand my medical expertise, using my knowledge and skills to benefit you in a non-biased, caring and compassionate way. My credo: Do no harm.

Why I entered medicine

At age 19 a motor vehicle accident put me in the hospital for nine days. I did not walk for five weeks. It was a life-changing experience involving struggle and connecting with so many compassionate individuals in health care. I decided then medicine would be my chosen profession and contribution to society.

Community involvement

I am a member of Faith Alive Church and volunteer with Micah's Backpack.

Personal interests

I enjoy being free in nature, slow yoga, slow running and laughing with my young children. I thrive on personal growth and change, and enjoy facing the challenges and experiences of life that broaden my knowledge. I am always open to the wisdom of the young and old alike.
