About
Philosophy of care
I believe quality medical care must involve a comprehensive, compassionate and patient-centered approach that is both evidence-based and individualized. The opportunity to care for you is a privilege and I strive to treat each patient as if they were my own family.
Why I entered medicine
I became interested in medicine early because my grandfather was a general practitioner in rural Pennsylvania. I saw the doctor-patient relationships he fostered and the connections he made with patients at their most vulnerable times. He inspired me to pursue both a humbling and fulfilling career in medicine.
Community involvement
Education and teaching are passions of mine. I volunteered as a tutor in medical school and as a soccer coach for children with disabilities. I have also spent time volunteering at various free medical clinics.
Personal interests
I enjoy running, good food and spending time with family.
