About
Philosophy of care
I provide thorough, compassionate and personable care to all while being adaptable to meet your needs with available resources as a team.
Why I entered medicine
Three reasons: my curiosity for the human body and how everything works together; my interest in serving those needing medical care (sometimes on their worst day); finally, my desire to educate as many people as possible about health to avoid preventable deaths. After the loss of my dad from multiple strokes, I wanted to learn more about what happened and help others avoid it.
Community involvement
I am active at church and in my community. I have supported a medical mission trip to Haiti. Previously, in Boston, I co-chaired a DEI committee that coordinated important lectures with clinical context at the system level. We also partnered with Boston schools to introduce them to our profession, ensuring groups with less resources were included.
Personal interests
I enjoy quality time with family (including four-legged members) and friends, nature, continuing education, faith, travel, good food and community involvement.
