Meet Our Alumni
Samantha Weiss, DO

I am originally from Buffalo, New York, where I grew up in a close-knit Italian family. I completed my undergraduate studies at Canisius University in Buffalo before attending West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. During my time in rural West Virginia, I developed a strong interest in addiction medicine, which has shaped my career path.

I moved to Allentown for my family medicine residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network, graduating in June 2025. I began my addiction medicine fellowship in July 2025. My professional interests include addiction medicine, primary care, lifestyle medicine, and medical education. Outside of medicine, I enjoy playing basketball, solving jigsaw puzzles, reading science fiction, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.

After completing my addiction medicine fellowship, I will join University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio, as an outpatient family medicine physician with certification in addiction medicine. I look forward to integrating addiction treatment into primary care and expanding access to evidence-based care.
