Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship FAQs

Frequently asked questions include:

Can I fast track into a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship?

Yes, we permit and support residents interested in child and adolescent psychiatry. In fact, LVHN has a psychiatry residency program, and we would love for you to stay on board with us to complete your training.

Do you sponsor visas for international medical graduates (IMGs)?

J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorships will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Is clinical or research experience in the United States required to apply?

We do not require clinical or research experience; however, this sort of experience will help strengthen an application.

Do you offer clinical shadowing, observerships, externships, etc?

We do not offer these sorts of experiences at LVHN.
