The Interventional Cardiology Fellowship program at Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) offers the trainee the experience they will require to be a well-rounded interventionalist.

They will be exposed to a variety of procedures that treat coronary artery disease, including rotational, orbital, laser atherectomy and intravenous lithotripsy. Other procedures include high-risk PCI, IABP, mechanical circulatory support with Impella, ProtekDuo and ECMO. Fellows will gain experience with treatment of CTO and exposure to structural heart procedures including left atrial appendage closure, ASD and PFO closure and TAVR. The fellows will also participate as sub-investigators in clinical trials that are concurrently enrolling patients.
