Q: What is it like to live in/around Allentown?

A: Allentown is the third-largest city in Pennsylvania and has a lot to offer, including a minor league baseball team and hockey team that both sponsor frequent fun family events. We have some great restaurants and breweries/wineries. The surrounding area includes many beautiful parks, lakes and places to hike, as well as some neat neighboring towns like Bethlehem and Easton. We are also close to New York City, Philadelphia and even the Jersey shore if you want to take a daytrip to the beach. The Lehigh Valley is pet-friendly with a low cost of living. You also can experience concerts at Bethlehem SteelStacks, Musikfest, Bacon Fest, Kutztown Folk Festival and other events throughout the year. Read more about life in the Lehigh Valley.
