The Vascular Neurology Fellowship’s mission is to establish a foundation for lifelong learning in vascular neurology and in the neurosciences.

We offer trainees a flexible didactic program tailored to their individual needs and extensive practical training, as well as one-on-one mentoring from faculty. To enrich the training experience, the program offers the fellow substantial elective time for academic and clinical development, a cerebrovascular-focused basic science and clinical seminar series, regular conferences and multidisciplinary neuroscience grand rounds.

The Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) vascular neurology program is closely aligned with other network programs including internal medicine, neurosurgery, neuroradiology, interventional neuroradiology, physical medicine, rehabilitation and cardiology.

LVHN has a strong commitment to education and academic medicine. Our physicians are dedicated to education and enjoy mentoring fellows clinically and in research. We are a high-volume referral hospital that is a Comprehensive Stroke Center with a mobile stroke unit. We offer competitive wages with excellent benefits.

Postdoctoral fellows are provided with annual funding for continuing medical education such as conferences, memberships and more.
