To help protect you and our citizens, Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is making it easy for you to receive a free COVID-19 vaccination quickly and conveniently. Currently, LVHN does not have the supply needed to schedule more COVID-19 vaccination appointments. The best thing you can do to enter the queue for vaccination is to create a MyLVHN account.

MyLVHN is your path to vaccination

As someone with a qualifying medical condition, you are eligible to receive your COVID-19 vaccine when supply becomes available before the general public. Qualifying conditions as outlined by the Pennsylvania Department of Health are:

  • Cancer
  • Chronic kidney disease
  • COPD
  • Down Syndrome
  • Heart conditions, such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, or cardiomyopathies
  • Immunocompromised state (weakened immune system) from solid organ transplant or from blood or bone marrow transplant, immune deficiencies, HIV, use of corticosteroids, or use of other immune weakening medicines
  • Obesity (body mass index of 30 kg/m2 or higher but less than 40 kg/m2)
  • Severe obesity (BMI equal to or greater than 40 kg/m2)
  • Pregnancy
  • Sickle cell disease
  • Smoking
  • Type 2 diabetes mellitus

If you have one of these conditions, you can sign up to be notified when it’s your turn to schedule an appointment. The best thing you can do to enter the queue for vaccination, is to create a MyLVHN account. You'll receive a notification when you are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine and can schedule your vaccine appointment on MyLVHN. See directions below.

At this time, LVHN is only scheduling vaccination for individuals age 18 and older. If you have had a vaccine in the last 14 days, you should delay your COVID-19 vaccination. You should not receive another vaccine 14 days prior to or after your COVID-19 vaccination.

How does LVHN determine who is eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine?

Vaccine supply is limited in the early stage of distribution. LVHN is following Pennsylvania’s Department of Health guidelines to draft the priorities — one set for health care colleagues and another set for patients. See the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s phased approach to vaccination for details.
