PARTIAL REMOTE POSITION FOR LOCAL CANDIDATES


Summary
Coordinates, oversees, and administers all aspects of continued compliance for all non-provider employees, such as but not limited to, license renewals, background clearances, employee file audits, subpoenas, etc. Supports and represents talent acquisition operations by ensuring full compliance of all colleague files for regulatory audits in coordination with the Supervisor and Director of Talent Acquisition. Supports the Human Resources service model by providing exceptional service to past, present, and future colleagues through employment verifications and references.

Job Duties

  • Coordinates, oversees, and administers all aspects of continued background check compliance for all non-provider colleagues and adjudicates background decisions based on Network guidelines.
  • Conducts the primary source verification for all non-provider licensed staff; enters licensure and registration for new and current employees into the HRIS, monitors smart notifications, and tracks compliance to TJC and DOH regulations.
  • Handles all forms of communication and service to past, present, and future colleagues and those service providers validating employment verification in a courteous, discreet, confidential, and efficient manner in accordance with LVHN policy and procedure.
  • Supports and participates in regulatory audits in coordination with the Supervisor and Director of Talent Acquisition from various regulatory agencies, including but not limited to, The Joint Commission, Department of Health, Department of Labor, IRS, and Department of Homeland Security.
  • Coordinates the process to re-credential to verify DMV records by collecting updated Driver's Licenses and MVR Reports for insurance carrier.
  • Ensures accurate information is reflected in the HR Information Systems and maintains HR personnel files for all employees (former, current, and new) in compliance with all applicable legal requirements
  • Participates in knowledge sharing with Human Resources colleagues and stakeholders as the Subject Matter Expert in Regulatory Compliance


Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in business, human resources, psychology/humanities, or other related field.
  • 2 years of experience in a human resources support role with employment, credentialing, and onboarding responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of components of HR Management Systems and electronic file keeping systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive personal information in a discreet, professional manner.
  • Computer skills including proficiency in a Microsoft Windows (Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook) environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer focused services including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to relate well with employees at all levels of the organization.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, human resources, psychology/humanities, or other related field.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements related to equal employment, affirmative action planning, fair credit reporting, etc.


Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
