Established in 1955, the former West End Community Ambulance Association (WECAA), now Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN)–EMS West End is a nonprofit organization in Monroe County. LVHN–EMS West End maintains a fleet of seven advanced life support (ALS) and basic life support (BLS) licensed and equipped vehicles.

LVHN–EMS West End is the primary 911 ambulance provider for Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH)–Pocono, Chestnuthill, Eldred and Polk Townships and portions of Tunkhannock. The ambulance association also provides services for Hamilton and Ross townships. This 175-square-mile service area encompasses most of the western Poconos. Available 24 hours a day and seven days a week, LVHN–EMS West End responds to almost 5,000 calls annually.
We’re good neighbors. LVHN–EMS West End provides CPR and other training in the community and on-site standby services for special events, most notably the West End Fair.
As a nonprofit, most of our funding comes from subscriptions and donations.
