  • Injury prevention booklet: A must-read for parents and guardians, created by our trauma injury prevention program, this booklet features need-to-know information and tips for keeping kids safe.
  • Trauma Survivors Network: Our pediatric program has several resources available to support you, your child and your family after experiencing trauma or going through a traumatic event.
  • Safe Kids Worldwide: This is your go-to source for safety information and safety tips you can trust.
  • Concussion Services: Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of concussions.
  • Car Seat Checks/CPR Training: LVHN offers car seat checks with certified child passenger safety technicians and Basic Life Support (CPR, choking rescue, etc.) training for the general public.
  • Workshops for parents and grandparents: From labor classes and hospital tours to postpartum support groups and parent workshops, LVHN offers a variety of in-person and virtual classes to help you and your family.

Injury Prevention Programs Through LVHN

Keeping children safe is our No. 1 priority. The Lehigh Valley Health Network Trauma Prevention Program conducts many injury prevention programs for all age groups in the hospital and throughout the community. Our pediatric community outreach programs include:
