A urologist with expertise in complex urologic cancer surgery recently joined LVPG Urology, adding to Lehigh Valley Health Network’s unrivaled world-class, compassionate care in the region.

Peter Reisz, MD, who completed training in urologic oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) Cancer Center in New York, has offices in Allentown and Quakertown. Lehigh Valley Topper Cancer Institute has been a longtime member of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Alliance (MSK Cancer Alliance), which provides patients even more life-saving options.

“Cancer diagnoses come with so much fear for the patient and family, and one of my strengths is I communicate well and empower patients to feel involved in their care and have a clear understanding of their options, so they feel comfortable moving forward with treatment.” Peter Reisz, MD

Through the MSK Cancer Alliance, Lehigh Valley Topper Cancer Institute offers access to leading edge clinical trials and the newest therapeutic options close to home, something Dr. Reisz is eager to continue and build upon.

Dr. Reisz, also affiliated with Lehigh Valley Institute for Surgical Excellence, says caring for patients with cancer is becoming more and more complex, with more systemic therapies, targeted radiation treatments and surgical interventions and a variety of options available to patients.
