LVH–Pocono Colleagues Give Back for Thanksgiving

For the ninth year in a row, LVH–Pocono partnered with the Salvation Army to help feed families in need in Monroe County for Thanksgiving. The generosity of LVH–Pocono colleagues led to the donation of 156 turkeys, as well as food to fill 156 boxes, with each box containing enough supplies to feed a family of five.

Colleagues worked together in their departments to assemble and then deliver the meals to the Salvation Army, which was extremely grateful for the generosity in a time when it needs it most.

“With countless children and families worried about day-to-day needs during the devastating pandemic, the hope of a Thanksgiving meal was almost too much to think about,” says Jill Brink, Director of Feeding Programs for the Salvation Army. “Yet the kindness and caring of LVH–Pocono and many community partners have made a hot, delicious holiday meal a reality. What a miracle!”
