Dimitry Belogorodsky, DO
Associate Program Director, Primary Care, Sports Medicine Fellowship
Dimitry Belogorodsky, DO, was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, and immigrated to the United States with his parents as a young child. He was raised just outside Philadelphia, where he developed an early interest in science and a desire to work with people, leading him to pursue a career in medicine.
While completing his education, Dr. Belogorodsky discovered a passion for sports and fitness. He swam throughout school and eventually earned a spot on the swim team at Temple University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He later earned a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) before continuing his medical education at PCOM, where he received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in 2018.
During medical school, he also developed an interest in endurance sports and began competing in triathlons. After graduating from PCOM, he completed his Family Medicine Residency at Jefferson Abington Hospital in Abington, Pa., followed by a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Lehigh Valley Health Network in 2022.
His decision to specialize in sports medicine reflects his lifelong interests in medicine, athletics, and fitness. Outside of his career, Dr. Belogorodsky enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and English bulldog.
