Sometimes it helps to talk with someone who not only knows what you are going through, but is going through it at the exact same time. With that in mind, LVHN created postpartum support groups. These groups allow you to meet other parents, build friendships and learn from a moderator and mentor who works on the LVHN team.

LVPG Emotions & Support

Adjusting to new parent life can be stressful. Call your LVPG Obstetrics and Gynecology office to schedule an appointment (either virtual or in-person) with a behavioral health specialist and/or a WAVES clinician. These resources are available to provide emotional support both during pregnancy and after childbirth. Support for infant loss and birth trauma are also available through these programs.

Women Adjusting to Various Emotional States (WAVES)

This program is designed for women who are dealing with the emotions of pregnancy and motherhood. Click here and talk to your LVPG OB-GYN to learn more.
