Car Seat Check (in-person)

Certified child passenger safety technicians will show you how to correctly install your car seat and properly secure your child.

Safe Sitter Class (in-person)

Lehigh Valley Health Network offers the national Safe Sitter® Essentials program, which helps to prepare young adults ages 11 to 13 to be safe when they are babysitting, watching younger siblings, or home alone.  Fee of $27.50 per student includes student handbook.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider for the Community (in-person)

The BLS course is open to the general public and covers core American Heart Association (AHA) material such as adult and pediatric CPR, Choking Rescue, and practice with automated external defibrillation.

This course requires review of the BLS online education (e-book) prior to attending the in-person skills testing.  You must attend in-person skills testing to be eligible for certification.

To register for this program, click the link below.

  1. Go to “Class Type” drop-down, then select “Community Education”
  2. Choose a class at either “GEM-EMI Allentown (EMI)” or “Easton LVHN-3780 Hecktown”
  3. Click on “enroll” to schedule a time for the in-person skills testing
