Lehigh Valley Topper Cancer Institute’s program offerings

Some of the reasons referring clinicians send their patients to the Cancer Institute include:

Multidisciplinary consultation

We offer multidisciplinary clinics for many forms of cancer, including breast cancer and lung cancer. Patients see medical, radiation and surgical oncologists in one visit and leave with personalized care recommendations and a nurse navigator who assists them on their cancer journey. Clinical excellence

Our commitment to delivering high-quality cancer care is recognized at the national level. We have held the American Society of Clinical Oncology’s QOPI® designation since 2011. We also carry American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC), American College of Radiology (ACR), National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) and AAGL/SRC COEMIG accreditations and designations demonstrating our commitment to constantly measuring and improving outcomes.

Pioneering care

Our expertise and treatment options lead to safer, more effective care. We were among the first programs in the country to bring a board-certified surgeon specializing in complex cancer procedures to our staff. Now, we have the advantage of a full, highly experienced team made up of nationally renowned experts.

The Cancer Institute was also the first cancer center in the region offering the Varian Edge™ radiosurgery system and CAR-T immunotherapy. Find out more about cancer treatments.
