About
Philosophy of care
I make a point of treating every patient as if they are a member of my family or a friend.
Why I entered medicine
I entered medicine by accident; I come from a family of engineers and that was always the plan for me. But I had a few medical events happen during my childhood that changed my outlook and my career goals. I entered medicine to give back to the community in the same way the doctors, nurses and health care team helped me. They took a scared child and made surgeries and doctors’ appointments a fun and exciting experience. I hope to do the same.
Community involvement
I volunteered at the Veterans Administration in Albany as well as at our local hospital. I would like to become more involved in the local community as I become more familiar with the area.
Personal interests
I enjoy hiking, climbing and spending time with my fiancé and our kitten.
