About
Philosophy of care
I experienced the uncertainty and fear of being a patient when I was a child. It isn't easy to trust your health to another person. I work to earn the trust of my patients and be as clear as possible.
Why I entered medicine
I entered medicine due to my interest in organ transplantation. It is amazing to give others a second chance at life and facilitate organ donation.
Community involvement
I have been involved in organ donation awareness, with a focus on living kidney donation.
Personal interests
I enjoy 3D printing and design, especially to help my medical students and trainees improve their surgical skills.

Comments
"Check in was quick and easy with a short wait before being seen. The transplant team specialists visited in turn and were detailed in their review of me. I feel quite safe in their care."
"Dr. Brian Chen and staff was very educated to myself and my husband"
"I think everything went extremely well. Everyone was very knowledgeable, very respectful, and very thorough. And I wish everyone on my end, as far as being a potential donor, would have the opportunity and take the time to get involved and see how much it could change the world. Thank you."
