About
Philosophy of care
I believe building a rapport with the patient and their family is essential to providing quality care. Taking the time to listen and holistically assess the patient allows me to build a plan of care with the patient, not just for the patient. Practicing with compassion and empathy are the guiding lights to caring for the pediatric population. Advocating for my patients is of utmost importance to me.
Why I entered medicine
Ever since childhood, I had big dreams of becoming a "nurse doctor." I have always wanted to change the world by taking care of others as well as educating them to live the most fulfilling life possible. I became a nurse knowing I wanted to go right into a nurse practitioner program and become an autonomous leader in health care. Caring for the pediatric population allows me to develop relationships with the patient and their parents/caregivers.
Community involvement
Donating blood is one of my favorite ways to give back to the community. As both a new homeowner in Coopersburg and a new nurse practitioner, I look forward to finding more ways to get involved.
Personal interests
I enjoy spending time with my husband, our family and friends. Getting outside on a walk or hike is always fun. Cooking and baking are some of my favorite things. Now that I have my own house (and spare time), I look forward to gardening and tending to all the homeowner "things" to do!

Comments
"Ms. Krail is absolutely terrific! She treats my son like a unique person and truly listens to him (and us as parents). Ms. Krail asks terrific questions, and she really gets to the bottom of my son as a whole child and not simply a neurology patient. Her methodical approach to obtaining a diagnosis makes us all feel comfortable during this stressful time."
"Emily was awesome! She was able to explain in words that my 13 yr old also understood!"
"The provider was really compassionate with my daughter. She made my daughter and I feel heard. She allowed us to ask questions. We did not feel rushed. I am 100% satisfied with the care. that my daughter was given. And I will 100% recommend"
