About

Philosophy of care

As a hand surgeon caring for both adults and children, my philosophy centers on restoring function, reducing pain and helping patients return to the activities that matter most to them. I aim to provide you compassionate, patient-centered care by listening carefully, understanding your goals and communicating clearly throughout the treatment process. I prioritize evidence-based, thoughtful decision-making and choose the least invasive and most effective treatments to achieve durable results. In pediatric care, I create a reassuring environment and work closely with families to support growth and long-term function. Above all, I am committed to treating every patient with empathy, respect and integrity.

Why I entered medicine

I chose a medical career because of my fascination with the human body and the way it can heal itself. Orthopedics in particular has been my passion from a young age because it allows me to help people with their pain, and I find that immensely satisfying.

Community involvement

I stay involved in my communities by volunteering to help the underserved. That has included teaching dance classes at women and children’s shelters and volunteering at free clinics.

Personal interests

I love to travel and immerse myself in local cultures, particularly through food. I also enjoy cooking and staying active in the outdoors through hiking and camping.
