Philosophy of care

I build patient relationships through active listening, empathy and clear communication. By creating a supportive and understanding environment, I make sure you feel heard, valued and involved in your care. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

Why I entered medicine

My grandmother, a nurse for over 30 years, inspired my interest in medicine through the care she provided and the care she later received as a patient. Watching her face a serious medical condition and undergo transplant surgery showed me the impact compassionate, high-quality care can have on a person’s life. This experience shaped my desire to pursue medicine, with the goal of helping patients maintain a strong quality of life and continue living fully despite illness.

Personal interests

In my free time I enjoy crocheting, baking and working out. I also love being outdoors and frequently go hiking and kayaking.
