About

Philosophy of care

Treating patients in a humanistic, compassionate way better equips me to manage their care. Getting to know you on a personal level and allowing you to get to know me builds a trust and respect that strengthens our relationship. It enhances care and outcomes and eliminates common barriers that exist in medicine. Speaking freely on OB-GYN issues as well as other aspects of your life promotes a better partnership to help me guide your medical care.

Why I entered medicine

As a young child, I had a sister born with an incurable genetic disease. The devastating consequences for her and our family prompted me to pursue a medical career. Very early on, I had proclaimed that one day I would cure her illness. Although I could not, that passion to help others continues to burn bright within me.

Personal interests

I enjoy cycling, traveling and time with family and friends.
