About
Philosophy of care
My philosophy is grounded in evidence-based, equitable, patient-centered care. I believe excellent care begins with listening to and truly understanding each patient – their values, concerns, goals, and unique circumstances. My approach is centered around compassion and respect, with the goal of empowering every patient to feel informed, heard, and confident in their care.
Why I entered medicine
Medicine allows me to build meaningful relationships and make a difference during important moments in patients' lives. I was particularly drawn to maternal-fetal medicine because of the opportunity to provide comprehensive care for pregnant individuals with high-risk obstetric conditions and investigate innovative solutions to achieve the healthiest pregnancy outcome. I find great meaning in listening to patients, helping them navigate difficult decisions, and providing compassionate care for them and their families.
Community involvement
As the first person in my family to graduate from college, I understand the transformative impact of mentorship and education. I am committed to supporting the next generation of learners navigate their career paths and reach their full potential. I value building inclusive, collaborative communities where individuals feel supported in their personal and professional growth.
Personal interests
I enjoy time with family and friends – traveling, cooking, and gathering around the table for a good meal. I’m an avid supporter of my Bay Area sports teams. You can also find me outdoors hiking, exploring new places, and enjoying nature.
